2008-2009 Hunting Season
Colorado Elk
1st Season- permit draw only
None of our hunters drew a permit
2nd Season
There are elk all over our area. Early snow falls have pushed the elk from the high country down into our country, in the green timber. A number of very nice bulls have been spoted within close proximity of our camp. So far one hunter has killed a bull, a second hunter has missed two bulls. All hunters have had the opportunity to see and harvest a bull. 2nd seasons ends October 22. Check back for updated stats.
Whitetail Season is underway
We have had two groups of hunters so far this season; JV and James and Roger and David.
James and JV harvested a buck, 6 wild boar and a rio grande turkey
Roger passed several bucks over 150", as a seasoned hunter with TTO he has harvested some great bucks over in the past years and was looking for the perfect addition to his trophy room. David harvested a 162 3/8" buck pictured below.
